Baby Ruby

A couple of weeks ago I had the delight of photographing little Ruby, and her mother and father. Ruby was extremely well behaved and a pleasure to photograph! I want to say a massive thanks to both Laura and Matt for letting me do this, and I'm so happy that you're both happy with the outcome!

Plymouth Chiropractor - Corporate Photography

Last week the Plymouth Chiropractic Clinic, which is located in Mannamead, kindly asked me whether I would take some photographs of the company and of the people who worked there. This was the first time I have done any kind of corporate photography I felt it was the perfect opportunity to gain some experience in this aspect of photography.

Chloe

This is my gran's new puppy, Chloe! She's only a few months old and very small! I felt this was the perfect opportunity to take some photographs as by the time next month she will have grown so much more.

Tamsyn Wedding - July 2013

On Sunday the 7th July, I made my way to Kitley House Hotel for the wedding of Tamsyn and Mark. The weather was perfect and you couldn't ask for better day. Everything went so well and Tamsyn looked so beautiful. I would like to say thank you to Tamsyn for letting me photograph her wedding, and thanks the rest of her lovely family for being so welcoming. Competition - BBC Countryfile Photographic Competition

I saw this competition online a few days ago and thought it would be a great opportunity for me to expand my landscape photography skills. The theme this year is 'Our Living Landscape'. As I live in such a beautiful part of the country, I'm lucky enough to be able to step outside and i'm already in the heart of nature, with the moors only a few miles away and the sea is about a 20 minute drive.

I've decided to stick with the theme of farm life and that aspect of nature. Just down the road is a field with the cutest sheep in and felt this is a exciting opportunity to get some great shots, and keep a diary of my results. I will be taking photographs over the next few days I'll be posting the best here, and see which one overall I will be entering.

Kitley House Hotel Wedding Fayre

Last Sunday, Kitley House Hotel hosted a fantastic wedding fayre which included many different stands with a wonderful fashion parade which included a large collection of wedding dresses by local companies around Devon. The whole event was a huge success and it was wonderful to see Kitley House proving once again why it has become a fantastic wedding venue, with creative surroundings with a classic atmosphere.  All the staff work so hard, which clearly showed in how smoothy the event went. We must give credit to them, and all the people who turned up and made the day such a huge success. It was a pleasure to photograph the stands, fashion show and exhibits, and it was great to see so many smiley and enthusiastic faces!

Week 1

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog post! Thank you so much for reading. I hope to keep updated on this blog as much as possible so you know what i've been up to during the week! I hope you enjoy it!

The last week has been pretty good, on Sunday I went to photograph a wedding at Kitley House Hotel. The weather was perfect for a wedding, and Tamsyn looked beautiful so a massive congratulations to Mark and Tamsyn on a stunning wedding. I would like to thank them for letting me photograph their wedding, it was a gorgeous day! Here is two of the pictures I took, I will be posting many more next week -

Also this week I've had the time to go out and take some photographs on walks. At the moment there are some beautiful flowers coming out which gives me the opportunity to go out and take lots and lots of snaps of the Devon countryside. As the weather is so good it's great to go out and just take as many pictures as you can! I definitely recommend anyone to just go out with a camera take pictures of flowers, pretty trees, anything that won't be here in a couple of months!
